We’ve all been waiting since December 14, 2009 for the newest episode of Lie to Me, and the wait is going to be much longer. A new episode will not air until “late spring” of 2010, which will be closer to summer.
The ratings for Lie to Me have lowered substantially, though. According to rumors on the web, Lie to Me has a chance of being canceled before May of 2010. If the ratings do not pick up, we may never see a third season of this show.
As a viewer, I have to wonder why exactly the ratings have lowered. After all, the show airs after House MD on Monday nights, which has an average of 13 million viewers, so people are already tuned into FOX before Lie to Me airs, yet people aren’t watching it.
Is it because the show is too predictable? Every episode does follow a formula plot, but the premise behind the show is unique in a world of doctor/mystery dramas already on the air.
So while we wait for “Late Spring”, make sure to catch up on all of the Season 1 and Season 2 episodes. The last episode was Season 2, Episode 10, Tractor Man, and we have great video choices for you to watch.
Just because Lie to Me is not on the air yet, you do not have to go through withdrawals while we wait!
Or you can always watch other TV shows that fit the same kind of genre, such as Fringe or NCIS. These shows are currently on the air and every week have a new episode, so make sure to check them out!
